Enlighten Your Students About
IT Careers and Employers
RITE’s Site Visit Program (RSVP) engages regional IT employers in creating opportunities for high school and collegiate students and educators to learn first-hand about Northeast Ohio businesses and the IT workforce needs of their company and industry. A RITE Site Visit is a field trip designed to better inform students about IT careers and local employment opportunities while they network with professionals.
RSVP is available for up to 25 students and their adult sponsor/teachers. Options include half day or morning only. Although the specifics of each site visit depend on the host company, a typical site visit looks like the following:
Site Visit Sample Agenda (1/2 Day Including Lunch)9:30-10:00 | Company Presentation
11:30-1 | Networking lunch for students & professionals |
Site Visit Sample Agenda (Morning Only)9:30-10:00 | Company Presentation

Participating schools, colleges, and universities will be able to select one visit per year. All participants are required to arrange their own transportation. One-time reimbursement for transportation, up to $200 per year per school, is available.

East Technical High School students visit MCPc
“We had an amazing time! Everything went very well and the students really learned some good material.”
— Ronald Suchy, Info Technology & Prog Teacher, Mayfield Excel TECC, Mayfield City schools
“The site visit was awesome. We were unable to see the lockbox, but the students enjoyed the presentations and learned a lot about technology and banking. Michael Slama and his colleagues were very hospitable. They sat with the students during lunch and had great conversations. Thank you for the opportunity to expose my students to this.”
— Chardon Rankin, Educator, Mathematics Teacher, East Tech High School
