Leading employers and industry groups in Northeast Ohio have joined forces with RITE and TECH CORPS to deliver highly acclaimed High School Technology Camps to area high school students. These FREE camps are designed to attract and prepare the next generation of IT workers by helping young people build the skills and knowledge employers need.
This summer, RITE and TECH CORPS are launching HSTC: Virtual, a weeklong online tech camp experience. Students will learn to code in Python, a programming language that helps programmers work quickly and efficiently.
Throughout the camp, students have access to sessions with a TECH CORPS instructor. Students have time to work individually as well as in small group sessions to implement and practice the concepts they learn. Should students have questions outside of the instructional sessions, they can reach an Instructor On-Call using Moodle, TECH CORPS Learning Management System.
Students will create a final project and display it using FlipGrid, an online video recording platform designed for education.
