INVEST IN YOUR FUTURE IT TALENT: BECOME A SPONSOR
As a RITE program sponsor, you are investing in your company’s growth and success by helping to accelerate the pipeline of IT talent.
By sponsoring a RITE program, you will:
- Impact one of the most important parts of your value chain – the next generation IT talent.
- Direct more Northeast Ohio students into good paying jobs in growth careers.
- Grow student (and future employee) awareness for your company as a great place to work.
- Support the retention of high-quality talent in the region.
Position your company as a leader in IT talent development alongside companies like Eaton, OEC, Hyland, BlueBridge, Cleveland Clinic, and others.
PASSPORT TO IT CAREERS: March 2019, Global Center for Health Affairs
RITE’s Annual Passport to IT Careers is Northeast Ohio’s premier youth talent event. More than three hundred area high school students will have the opportunity to interact with employers, colleges and universities throughout the region. Students learn about the skills requited for IT careers now and in the future.
COOLTECH CHALLENGE: Winter 2018-2019
CoolTech Challenge is a RITE signature program in which student teams compete in developing concepts and/or fully functional unique websites or mobile apps. Industry professionals choose the winning projects which earn students scholarships and other prizes. Students are invited to present their work at the CoolTech Showcase held in conjunction with RITE’s 6th Annual Passport event. Last year there were over 90 submissions.
6th ANNUAL IT IN ACTION SPONSORSHIP: Fall, 2018
This program is an immersive experience for students in Lorain County to engage with professionals across a range of local and regional companies. Students visit a college campus, engage with working professionals and IT leaders eager to share their passion for IT, and get all the information they need to about how to choose and prepare for a postsecondary pathway in IT. IT in Action is a partnership between RITE and the LCCC RITE Council.
